Preschool Partners Holds Grand Opening

PreSchool Partners held a grand opening ceremony and open house August 20 for its new educational facility – the first dedicated solely to the nonprofit. At least 200 people attended the event.
The 12,500 square foot facility features 8 classrooms, a playground, a children’s theatre, a library, and other multi-purpose rooms, which allow the organization to expand operations by approximately 60 percent. Hoar Construction served as the general contractor for the project and donated their construction fee to PreSchool Partners at the completion of the project.
“It has been a pleasure to work on the PreSchool Partners project. This is a project that will have a positive impact on the community for years to come, and I am honored to have been part of it,” said Gerald King, project manager for Hoar.
PreSchool Partners’s new facility opened in time to celebrate the nonprofit’s 20th anniversary of serving preschool children and their families in inner-city Birmingham. PreSchool Partners is a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping families of at-risk preschool children with the skills necessary to prepare children for elementary school.
