Birmingham, AL – Hoar Construction has started sitework on the 87-acre redevelopment of the former Bellevue Center Mall located in Bellevue (Nashville), Tennessee. The project, called One Bellevue Place, is envisioned to include approximately 348,000 square feet of new retail space, 337 multifamily units, a 111 room Hilton Home2 Suites Hotel and approximately 350,000 sf of office.

The retail portion of the development will contain a mix of tenants, including Carmike Theater, Sprouts Farmers Market, and other restaurants, and national retailers. The project is led by Crosland Southeast, based in Charlotte, NC, and is a joint venture between Crosland Southeast and Branch Properties, LLC, based in Atlanta, GA. H. Michael Hindman Architects is providing design services for the project and Barge Cauthen is the Civil Engineer.

“We are honored to have been selected as general contractor for the project, especially given our history with the retail property. The development will be a transformative asset to the community and we look forward to a successful project,” said Tim Hendricks, project executive for Hoar Construction.

Hoar Construction built the original development, Bellevue Center Mall, in 1989. The former mall is being demolished for the owner by DH Griffin.

One Bellevue Place is expected to be complete by the end of 2017.
